We’re on the lookout for a Web Developer!

We are a small close-knit team where everyone gets to contribute and are now on the lookout for a web developer to join us. This a new full-time or part-time jobshare (to suit) role and as such you will have the opportunity to really make your mark.
Working closely with the Design & Digital Director, we need someone who is able to get stuck into a range of projects which focuses on the technical side of web and digital development. This could include simple email campaigns and CMS responsive websites, through to deployment and more.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a thoughtful approach to web and digital solutions, solid web development know-how, along with the ability to create high quality and structured code.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience working with PHP, MySQL, HTML, Javascript and CSS
- Experience in responsive design and mobile web development
- Experience in using and creating WordPress templates (building from scratch, not template manipulation)
- Experience of integrating with web services and APIs
- Understanding of usability, web accessibility and cross-browser/platform issues
- Solid understanding of web servers and experience in managing DNS efficiently
- Email marketing (template building)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team
Desirable Skills
- Experience of working with Adobe CC
- Understanding of SEO and PPC
- App development capabilities
- CRM knowledge
